Your Responsibility

Users are solely responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated content.

You retain ownership of all content you submit, upload, or create within UniGuideApp.

This includes:

• Essays
• Personal statements
• Notes
• Documents
• Application materials

By uploading content, you grant UniGuideApp a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, display, and transmit such content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes
• Access accounts belonging to others
• Attempt to bypass security measures
• Reverse engineer the platform
• Interfere with platform functionality
• Upload malicious software or code
• Misrepresent your identity
• Use automated tools to scrape data without permission

The Service, including its software, design, trademarks, branding, content, graphics, and functionality, is owned by UniGuideApp and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except as expressly permitted, users may not:

without prior written permission.

• Data loss resulting from technical issues

Your use of such third-party services may also be governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

UniGuideApp is provided on an “as available” basis.

at any time without liability.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”

UniGuideApp expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.

UniGuideApp shall not be liable for:

• Missed application deadlines
• Rejected applications
• Admission decisions
• Scholarship denials
• Financial aid decisions
• Lost opportunities
• Lost profits
• Lost data
• Emotional distress
• Indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages

Our total liability arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the greater of:

• (a) $100 USD, or
• (b) the amount paid by you to UniGuideApp during the previous twelve months.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless UniGuideApp, its founders, employees, contractors, affiliates, and partners from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your content
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of applicable law
• Your infringement of third-party rights

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if:

• You violate these Terms
• Your actions create risk for UniGuideApp or its users
• Required by law

You may stop using the Service at any time.

Before initiating formal legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt good-faith informal resolution.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be resolved through binding arbitration in California under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive participation in any class action, representative action, or class arbitration proceeding.

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California without regard to conflict of law principles.

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional policies incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and UniGuideApp regarding the Service.

We may update these Terms periodically.

Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
